Accupril (generic: quinapril) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. Accupril belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, which relax blood vessels to lower blood pressure and make the heart more efficient.

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken once or twice daily. It should be taken on an empty stomach - one hour before, or two hours after a meal.
