Aceon
Aceon Overview

Aceon (generic: perindopril) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure. Aceon belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, which relax blood vessels to lower blood pressure and make the heart more efficient.

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken once or twice daily, with or without food. It should be taken at the same time each day.

Common side effects include cough, headache, and back pain. Aceon may cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.
