Banzel (generic: rufinamide) is a prescription medicine used to treat seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome in adults and children. It belongs to a group of drugs called anticonvulsants which are thought to work by decreasing excitement in the brain by affecting sodium channels.
