Combipatch Overview
CombiPatch (generic: estradiol/norethindrone) is a prescription medication patch designed to release two female hormones, estradiol and norethindrone, when applied to the skin. It is used to treat moderate to severe hot flashes associated with menopause. It is also used to treat dryness, itching, and burning in or around the vagina. It may also be used to treat estrogen deficiency as well.
CombiPatch comes in the form of a thin patch that sticks to the skin. A new patch is usually placed on the skin every 3 to 4 days.
Common side effects of CombiPatch include headache, breast pain, irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting, and hair loss.
