Cometriq (generic: cabozantinib) is a prescription medication used to treat medullary thyroid cancer that has spread to other areas of the body. Cometriq belongs to a group of drugs called tyrosine kinase inhibitors which work by blocking certain proteins cancer cells need to grow and multiply.
