Cosopt PF (generic: dorzolamide/timolol) is a prescription medication treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension.  Cosopt PF contains two active ingredients, dorzolamide (Trusopt) and timolol (Betimol) in preservative-free single use containers . Dorzolamide belongs to a group of drugs called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Timolol belongs to a group of drugs called beta blockers. Both drugs work to lower pressure in the eye, by lowering the amount of fluid in the eye.

This medication comes in the form of a single use, preservative-free eyedrop. It is usually applied to the affected eye(s) twice daily.

Common side effects of Cosopt PF include burning, stinging, and redness of the eye(s).
