Edarbyclor (generic: azilsartan/chlorthalidone) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure. It is a single tablet containing 2 medications, azilsartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and chlorthalidone, a "water pill" (diuretic). Azilsartan works by blocking a natural substance that narrows blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently. Chlorthalidone works by removing excess salt and water through the kidneys, decreasing blood volume, which lowers blood pressure.

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken once daily, with or without food.
