Faslodex Overview

Faslodex (generic: fulvestrant) is a prescription medication used to treat certain types of breast cancer in post-menopausal women.

Faslodex belongs to a group of drugs called estrogen receptor antagonists.  It works by blocking the action of estrogen on cancer cells.
 
This medication comes in injectable form, that is administered by a doctor or nurse. 
 
Common side effects of Faslodex include injection site pain, nausea, and headache.
