Flonase
Flonase Overview

Flonase (generic: fluticasone) is a prescription medication used to treat nasal itching, sneezing, and runny or stuffy nose due to allergies or other causes. Flonase belongs to a group of drugs called corticosteroids. It works by decreasing inflammation in the nose. 

This medication comes in nasal spray form. The usual dose is 1 to 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. 
  
Common side effects of Flonase include headache, sore throat, and nose bleeds.
