Fludara
Fludara Overview
Fludara (generic: fludarabine) is a prescription medication used to treat adult patients with a type of cancer called chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Fludara belongs to a group of drugs called antimetabolites. It works by interfering with cancer cell growth and reproduction.
This medication is available in an injectable form to be given directly into a vein (IV) by a healthcare professional.
Common side effects include fever, chills, nausea, and vomiting.
