Fluticasone nasal spray is a prescription medication used to relieve nasal stuffiness, runny nose, itching, and sneezing due to allergies or other causes. These symptoms are caused by inflammation in the nose. Fluticasone nasal spray belongs to a group of drugs called corticosteroids. It reduces inflammation by decreasing the activity of the immune system.

This medication comes in the form of a nasal spray. It is usually sprayed in each nostril once or twice daily.

Common side effects of fluticasone nasal spray include headache, nosebleed, and irritated nose.  Fluticasone nasal spray can cause dizziness.  Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how fluticasone nasal spray affects you.
