Fulyzaq
Fulyzaq Overview

Fulyzaq (generic: crofelemer) is a prescription medication used to treat diarrhea in patients with HIV/AIDs who take antiretroviral drugs. Fulyzaq works by blocking chloride ions from excretion in the gut, causing less sodium and water to be excreted, thereby reducing diarrhea symptoms.

This medication comes in tablet form and is usually taken 2 times a day, with or without food.

Common side effects of Fulyzaq include upper respiratory tract infection, cough, and gas.
