Gabitril (generic: tiagabine) is a prescription medication used in combination with other medications to treat partial seizures. Gabitril belongs to a group of drugs called anticonvulsants, that are thought to work by affecting a brain chemical that slows down the electrical system of the brain.

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken up to 4 times daily with food.
