Klor Con M (generic: potassium chloride) is a prescription medication used to treat and prevent low potassium levels due to poor dietary intake, certain diseases, or certain drugs. Klor Con M belongs to a group of drugs called electrolytes, which are substances important for the body to function.  

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken one to five times a day, with food and a full glass of water or other liquid.

Common side effects of Klor Con M include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
