Luvox
Luvox Overview

Luvox (generic: fluvoxamine) is a prescription medication used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).

Luvox belongs to a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI). These work by increasing the amount of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain that helps maintain mental balance.

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken once or twice a day, with or without food.

Common side effects of Luvox include nausea, insomnia, and headache. Luvox can also cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how Luvox affects you.
