Noxafil (generic: posaconazole) is a prescription medication used to prevent fungal infections caused by Aspergillus or Candida. Noxafil belongs to a group of drugs called triazole antifungal agents, which work by slowing the growth of fungi.

This medication comes in liquid form and is taken up to 3 times daily, depending on the infection being treated. Noxafil should be taken with a full meal.

Common side effects of Noxafil include fever, nausea, and diarrhea.
