Ocuflox Overview

Ocuflox (generic: ofloxacin) is a prescription medication used to treat bacterial infections of the eye, including conjunctivitis (pink eye) and corneal ulcers. Ocuflox belongs to a group of drugs called fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It works by killing bacterial cells that cause infection.

This medication comes in the form of an eyedrop. It is usually instilled in the affected eye(s) 4 or more times daily.

Common side effects include eye burning, stinging, redness, and tearing.
