Pataday (generic: olopatadine) is a prescription medication used to treat itchy eyes causes by eye allergies. Pataday belongs to a group of drugs called antihistamines. It works by blocking the release of histamine from certain cells in the body.

This medication comes in eye drop form. It is given as one drop in each affected eye, once a day.

Common side effects of Pataday are runny or stuffy nose, and sore throat.
