Salagen Overview
Salagen (generic: pilocarpine) is a prescription medication used to treat the symptoms of dry mouth for those with certain conditions. Salagen belongs to a group of medications called cholinergic agonists. These work by increasing the amount of saliva in the mouth.
This medication comes in tablet form and is taken 2 to 4 times a day, with or without food.
