Simbrinza (generic: brinzolamide/brimonidine) is a prescription eyedrop used to treat an eye condition called glaucoma. It is also used to treat a condition called ocular hypertension (higher than normal pressure inside the eye), which can lead to glaucoma if not treated. Simbrinza combines two drugs, brinzolamide and brimonidine. Brinzolamide belongs to a group of drugs called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Brimonidine belongs to a group of drugs called alpha adrenergic agonists. Both drugs work by decreasing the amount of fluid produced in the eyes.

This medication comes in the form of an eyedrop. The usual dose is one drop to the affected eye(s) three times daily.

Common side effects of Simbrinza include blurred vision, eye irritation, and dry mouth.
