Sprycel Overview
Sprycel (generic: dasatinib) is a prescription medication used to treat certain types of leukemia (cancers of the white blood cells). Sprycel belongs to a group of drugs kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of proteins that signal cancer cells to grow.
This medication comes in tablet form. It is usually taken by mouth once a day, with or without food.
Common side effects of Sprycel are diarrhea, headache, and cough.
