Starlix (generic: nateglinide) is a prescription medication used to lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Starlix belongs to a group of drugs called meglitinides. It causes the pancreas to produce more insulin and lower blood sugar levels after meals.

This medication comes in tablet form, and can be taken any time from 30 minutes before a meal to just before the meal.
