Tivicay Overview
Tivicay (generic: dolutegravir) is a prescription medication used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. Tivicay belongs to a group of drugs called integrase strand transfer inhibitors that interfere with one of the enzymes necessary for HIV to multiply.
This medication comes in tablet form. It is usually taken once or twice daily in combination with other HIV medications.
Common side effects of Tivicay include insomnia and headache.
