Twynsta (generic: telmisartan/amlodipine) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure. It is a single tablet containin 2 medicines, telmisartan and amlodipine. Telmisartan belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor blockers or ARBs. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. Both telmisartan and amlodipine work by relaxing the blood vessels which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken once daily, with or without food.
