Uceris (generic: budesonide) is a prescription medication used to treat mild to moderate ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the digestive tract). Uceris belongs to a group of drugs called corticosteroids. It works by reducing inflammation which helps control ulcerative colitis.

This medication comes in tablet form and is usually taken once daily each morning, with or without food. Swallow Uceris tablets whole.

Common side effects of Uceris include headache, nausea, and stomach pain.
