Dr. Farrell is the Director of Endoscopic Ultrasound Division of Digestive Diseases at the Ronald Reagan University of California – Los Angeles Medical Center and associate professor of medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He is also Director of Interventional & Pancreaticobiliary Endoscopy with Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare.

In addition to being a practicing clinical gastroenterologist, Dr. Farrell is a board certified clinical pharmacologist, interventional endoscopist and clinical and translational researcher focused on pancreatic cancer. He is a member of the 2012 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Scientific Program Committee.

Dr. Farrell has authored dozens of articles and scientic abstracts. He speaks on clinical topics at local, national and international meeting to both professional and lay audiences.
