Teri received her bachelor of science nursing degree from University Health Science Center at Houston, TX, and went on to establish a solid nursing career. Initially a staff nurse at Hermann Hospital, Houston, TX, she was promoted to an assistant head nurse and eventually head nurse of the geriatric ward at the same hospital. Then, she received an M.B.A. from University of St. Thomas in Houston.
Currently, Teri is a part-time school nurse in Dallas, TX and a part-time health care consultant.
